Family Weekend Parking
General Campus Parking
(Parking for all NON-Football Events)
Parking is available throughout campus from Friday to Sunday (ticketing will be suspended) as well as in the campus Parking Deck ($1/hour), located next to the Main Campus Student Center (501 E 10th Street, Greenville, NC 27858).
Please adhere to all posted parking regulations. Do not park in:
- Fire zones
- Spots reserved for a specific permit (i.e. ADA, reserved, patient, and service/maintenance)

(Parking during ECU Football Game Day)
A. Family Weekend Game Day Park and Ride Shuttle
For visiting families, parking with shuttle service is available from the Health Sciences campus to the Family Weekend Tailgate and the Football Stadium area. Parking will be at the Health Sciences Campus (GPS Address: 100 Health Science Drive, Greenville, NC). This lot is not for tailgating. Please use it to park only, before attending the ECU football game and/or the Family Weekend Tailgate.
Going to the Family Weekend Tailgate and/or Football Game:
Shuttles will begin departing the Health Sciences lot at 12:45pm and bring guests to the Family Weekend Tailgate Picnic and the football game until 4:00pm. The shuttles will make two stops on their route:
- First, shuttles will drop folks off at the Main Campus Student Center, where the Family Weekend Tailgate Picnic will be held. Tickets will not be sold at the door.
- Second, shuttles will drop folks off at Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium on 14th Street.
Then, shuttles will return to the Health Sciences lot and continue this route until 4:00pm, which is the football game kick-off.
Coming back to your cars after the Football game:
Shuttles will pick guests up on 14th Street where you were dropped off beginning at halftime and ending 1 hour after the football game ends. They will make two stops on their route:
- First, shuttle will drop folks off at the Main Campus Student Center.
- Second, they will drop everyone else off at the Health Sciences lot.
The Park & Ride Shuttles will read “FAMILY WEEKEND” across the front. There will be multiple shuttles running on game day, so it is important that you only use the “FAMILY WEEKEND” buses for the Park & Ride Shuttle.
B. Individual Tailgate and General Game Day Parking
Parking for football fans without reserved parking passes will be available in the Carol Belk Building lot along Charles Boulevard ($20 per vehicle). Parking is limited and lots will open six hours prior to kick-off for weekend games (8:00am for kick-offs earlier than 2:00pm). Spaces will be first-come, first-served.
C. Local Businesses
Business located on 14th Street, Charles Blvd. and Greenville Blvd., offer day-of first come, first serve parking varying from $10-$20.
D. Central Campus
Many spectators park on the central campus area and walk to the stadium.
E. Handicap Accessible Parking
The Family Weekend Park and Ride lot at the Health Sciences Campus and shuttles are handicap accessible.
Additional handicap parking is available through Athletics for $20 per vehicle. Pirate football fans who need accessible parking assistance can park on campus in the lots in front of Christenbury Gym/Brewster Building/Fletcher Music Center along 10th Street just west of the Elm Street intersection with 10th Street. Passengers will be able to ride accessible, climate-controlled shuttles to Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium and back to their cars after the game. Vehicles will only be admitted to the Christenbury lots with a valid state issued handicap-parking pass that must be registered in the name of one of the vehicle’s passengers. Ownership of the placard is subject to verification.Parking is $20 per vehicle and the round-trip shuttle bus ride is complimentary. Shuttle service begins two (2) hours prior to kick-off and operates for 1½ hours after the game. *Handicap shuttle service is offered from Christenbury Lot to Gate 9 of the Stadium.*
F. RV Parking
If you are interested in bringing a recreational vehicle (RV) during Family Weekend, RV parking is available in the Carol Belk Building lot. The parking fee is $100 per RV and advance reservation is required with the ECU athletic office. No day of game RVs will be allowed without advance reservation.
