Admission to the Greenville Museum of Art is FREE. There is a box in the lobby for cash donations. The Greenville Museum of Art’s mission is to inspire, educate, and connect people through the visual arts by way of their collection, exhibitions, and programs. Pitt County Arboretum

The Pitt County Arboretum offer free admission. Established in 1998, the seven-acre Arboretum surrounding the Pitt County Agricultural Center  demonstrates the possibilities for plantings in your own garden or landscape. Four season color, drought-tolerant plants, perennials, vegetables, herbs, roses, a children’s garden, wildflowers, fruits, container gardens, a tree and shrub collection, and more await you!

Simply Natural Creamery – The Farm

Simply Natural Creamery is a local, family owned dairy and creamery known for their high quality and delicious ice cream! Tours are offered Monday – Friday by reservation only and are $10 per person. Goose Creek State Park

The eight miles of trails at Goose Creek State Park lead visitors through a broad range of coastal experiences—live oaks draped in Spanish moss, wetlands along the Pamlico Sound and a cypress swamp viewed from an extensive boardwalk. A visitor and environmental education center explains it all with detailed exhibits. Getting into or onto the waters of the sound is easy at a sandy swim beach, a boat ramp or a separate paddling launch.
